Rich man’s mask

Rich man’s mask

Dear Estee Lauder,
The make-up mogul of animal slaughter,
That covers the faces of our American daughters
In eye shadow and powder,
The power you've gained in facial facades
Makes men so sick; they've soured
On such decorative flowers;
You've made beauty a cover-up
With your lipstick and liner,
Empowering women to be painted cowards,
And telling women their natural beauty is far worse.
You've halted men's gazes
At the pearly gates of women's faces, preventing them
from penetrating their hearts,
Your deeds are a disgrace.
You've given women false hope
While stealing from their purse
For many, finding a man isn't in the cards,
But the killing of her soul, I will never condone
I am recalling their beauty back:
Ladies, don't wear this rich man's masks!
