“Let bygones be bygones”

“Let bygones be bygones”

A Poem by Maxwell Ryder

Chemical weapons,
Isn’t that sumthin’?
“It ain’t nothin!”
Why does Assad
Wear the assumption?
When the West
Brought in the guns,
murdered hundreds,
thousands, no millions
More than that dead man,
Saddam;
Then asked Muslims,
“Let bygones be bygones”
As slaves planted coffins.
