Black Jesus

If Jesus had been black,
he’d still have been right
I’d have listened to him,
washed his feet, 
been a fisher of men
in the darkest of nights;
The stripes on his back
would’ve been no less red, 
the cross, no less heavy.
But if Jesus had been black,
I’m not sure he would’ve
ever crossed the Danube,
the Volga, the Vistula, 
Least of all, the Rubicon;
Only the Jordan.
Even sailed the ocean blue
to America, in 1492,
to inculcate the backs
of stolen Africans,
with the hallmarks 
of Pontius Pilate’s whip.

I will be with you, to listen to him preach love and kindness.
There is ( was) a theory, that Jesus was in India( unknown Years of Jesus; the book and movie are titled " jesus in India. (and a documentary trying to disprove that theory). It matters not to me ... whatever the color of skin, a noble soul is always a noble soul.

Hello. I have a book titled Living With the Himalayan Masters by Swami Rama. This book also claims that Jesus lived in India, and gives quite a bit of evidence. It's quite compelling. And I've read many studies on comparisons of Jesus and Krishna, and Jesus and the first Buddha. I think it's reasonable that maybe Jesus studied with Indians during that 20 years of his life that there's no record of, lol. It's all quite interesting. It is an interesting theory. I did not know it was India. I heard the Far East. I have heard Buddhism. I have heard Iran, somewhere and what is today Afghanistan. Who knows. Thank you, if you have a link to this documentary, I will be happy to watch it.

I agree with Mrudula, it does not matter the colour of the skin. an almighty noble soul is an almighty noble soul regardless of skin colour.
