Pieced Together

Pieced Together

A Poem by MediocreMemory
"

Very short open poem. Nothing unusual from me.

"

Defiantly sinking into a hole of disillusion,

she gathers her dreams with hands bloodied from the shards that remain.

The love she had built was on hope now shattered by reality.

Tears pour down her face in a river,

revealing her true nature.

She tries to put the pieces together to make herself whole again

but there are gaps in the image that keep it from coming together.
