This poem has been written with deep feelings and emotions so read it with along with the emotions it conveys..

Price Of A Tear

 

Sometimes I hear a song,

A happy one,

Full of fun,

Of time spent together,

Of giggles and laughter,

Of pretty smiles and wondrous awe,

Of gleeful moments spent,

And it feels pleasant,

Bringing a momentous smile,

Which but soon fades away

On account of the absence,

Of another- sorely missed!

 

Sometimes I hear a song,

A sad one,

Full of nostalgia,

Of times spent together,

Of love and tears,

Of sighs and hugs,

Of minds vacant or pensive,

Of tears again and of shoulders,

And it seeps to the heart,

Bringing a sigh and a tear-

A tear most precious!

On account of the presence of someone it contains-

A little drop-

Enclosing in itself, an ocean of

Memories of someone-

Someone sorely missed!

Dear Mehul Rwat,

To better understand this piece and perhaps enhance it, try giving a sense of time. How long is this person absent, just for a little while or forever? I cannot tell. Other than that, though, I like the structure of this poem whereas there is a flip of emotion between joy over the experience of this person's presence while also sorrow over this person's absence at the same time. Yet it is touching how you savor each memory, each tear over the memory as well. I definitely know how that feels.
