The Legend of My Curse

Just a good legend for Halloween!

The legend of my curse isn't very old.
It tells the tale of my mother,
And how she broke the heart of a witches son.
She told him that she loved him
But that was a lie.
She ended up leaving him for another man.
The witches son was so heart broken he tried to take his own life
The witch couldn't bare to see her son like that,
So she swore that the pain my mother had inflicted would not go unpunished.
Luckily for my mother she had already found true love
And the witches curse couldn't touch it.
So the curse was passed down to me
And it was a manageable curse until him.
Now he's all I can think about,
All I dream about,
And all I want.
But I mustn't ever tell him that I love him
Or his fate will be sealed
With the deadly witches curse.
