Mother Earth

Mother Earth

A Poem by Melissa Kester

The pitter patter on the roof
The rumbling of the earth
The flash in the night
She cries

The roaring winds
The collision of storms
The gouging of scars
She screams

The settling calm
The leftover breeze
The ripped up dirt
She whimpers

The etch in the ground
The flow of new rivers
The dispersing of clouds
She heals

The sun filled rays
The kiss of warmth
The brightly lit day
She smiles

beautiful tribute. We need to care our earth as our mother. So much emotions she carry for us.
Her anger will be dangerous. Love our mother Earth and keep it calm.

Nice idea
