Silence

Silence

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

Silence screams into my ear

too much silence, I cannot hear

emotions bouncing to and fro

where they'll end up, I don't know

smiling now, crying then

only to cry once again

silence blaring in my head

loud enough to wake the dead

loneliness laughs in my face

leaving sorrow in its place

it disappears, solace steps in

only to leave me once again

silence screams into my ear

so much silence, I cannot hear

Nicely done...great flow, I love it!
It's a little sad but still so sweet!
