I cry for him

I watch him stand

a face in the crowd

and I cry for him

 

He's known to no one

loved by no one

utterly alone

 

I see his eyes

they're full of tears

cloudy and dim

 

His body shivers

from the cold

skin and bones

 

The street's his home

a child alone

I cry for him
