"I'm Okay."

Just a short little couplet I came up with a few nights ago. Decided to post it. Tell me what you think, please?

I understand that you didn't mean to snap my heart,
but to be honest, I can't help but take it hard.

I told you that I'd be okay,
but I wasn't healed the next day.

I can't talk to anyone about it,
they'll just say it's the fault of the endless teenage hormonal pit.

I wonder what you would say if I told you what I feel like every day,
if I told you I hope for a day that I can honestly say "I am okay."

An interesting emotion, despite having to be cautious about what you say, know that it is much better to be okay than heartbroken. This being said, sometimes it's okay to go over the fear and go with your heart to someone. Even if it leaves you with a heartbreak, it's better than never living at all. Okay, enough ranting, and great poem, it's very well done.
