Two sides

Two sides

A Poem by Meraki

Words
That's all they ever are

No wonder you distrust them
Where they let you down
They allowed me to survive
I owe these words my life
And you your disappointment

Ah! Two things I like in a poem! Brevity and themes of words being words. Bravo!

Something which I like specifically; in the last sentence, the "you your" word order. I feel like doing this, or things similar to this, add tension. Tension is good.
