Free Bird;)

Free Bird;)

A Poem by merit
"

Bit of a doodle;)

Night has drawn around-

Silent, steady, still

I gaze at your face-

With eyes that cannot see

Humility can go and rest-

With patience put to test

Peoples inhibitions-

Often cruel intentions

Cant see them fitting-

With how were keeping

Pixies, witches-

Lurking in the ditches

Werewolves I dare to dare-

Cos I no longer care

Opinions of petty people-

Of who or what  to be

Brightly burning with spark

Are you coming for a lark?

For years I was a shadow-

Mistaken for Black Widow

Times have  changed-

No longer caged

Free Bird now-

Flying over biggest mountains

She's got her special fixes-

Known by first initials

Not afraid of death-

Out of breath, those wings will carry-

Those eyes big and starry
