In the Daze 😉A Poem by merit
Stood in a doorway, in hands of mercy
Trying to embrace another day I see nothing to envy, but wonder- Time for a coffee, or bed? Wordless companion from last night Embracing me tight, I feel alright Dived into it's mystery- No need for anyone's sympathy Violet rays, winters days- Wander around streets in a daze Like waves of a sea, rolling by Inside I've started to die I've got to find a way to stay Old man down on the floor Me- I'm stood by the door Watching the big spiders- Creeping in from open windows They're black and they're hairy I'm small and I'm dainty © 2018 merit |
