Reciprocal

A Poem by Metaphantom
"

That uneasy feeling, you shouldn't feel, when you should just know things work out, everything is a "happening" no matter what, go with the flow.

"
A few times we've spoken of love
I wish our moments together were enough
A little longer
I know what it is between us
I'd rather kiss you when we hug
A little stronger
Cause my feelings are different than yours
And I am afraid that I want more
A little to ponder
The choice is up to you my friend
How these two souls connect in the end
Nothings wrong here
Except my feelings are at risk
This is what I thought before our first kiss.....

Metaphantom
Just a poem I wrote on a vacation with a significant other and I wasn't sure how to feel about everything before it happened.

Poetic verses flow in tribute here.
A worthy recognition of the path,
a muse may take in search both pain or cheer,
or for a rant imbedded in one's wrath,

We stand upon such giants, don't you know.
This inspiration gushing from our pen
provides us all with hints from which to grow,
and points to stop and launch ourselves again.

This treasure gathered from a land of strife,
adds riches to the hoard we have in tow.
We see a man who's standing tall for life,
And taking on those burdens that we know.

You've set a poem here that's just the thing,
to put my sleeping muse into full swing

Honest and true words in the poem. The sweet kiss can lead to paradise or hell. Nice flow of thoughts led to perfect ending. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
