Hands of Lovers

Hands of Lovers

A Poem by Megan
"

I wanted to describe what it looks like when two people in love hold hands.

"

The rough touch of fingertips

slide down the life line.

Reaching the blue bulge

wrapped around the palm.

Red tipped flower nails

scratch the smooth skin.

Stretching as far as they go

squeeze tight to strengthen hold.

The bond connects the nails and fingertips

creating a hold too strong to break.

Feelings of love, care, kindness, support

flow through, back and forth.

I agree and I understand the below words.
"The bond connects the nails and fingertips
creating a hold too strong to break.
Feelings of love, care, kindness, support
flow through, back and forth. "
In my old age. I remember the long walks, sweet kisses and holding hands over all things. Sweet kindness of real love is never forgotten. Thank you Megan for sharing the excellent poetry.

OMG, this is beautiful. I very much enjoyed this one! I felt like I was on a "inkblot roller-coaster" in my mind. You can easily see your education and talent working together in this.

The bonding created by the hands of two lovers touching is incredibly amazing, it makes the strength of love more powerful and more connected... I think you have quite beautifully portrayed the concept... There is a sweet romantic wave in this poem...

Sincerely
Dhiman
