Air Ways

Air Ways

A Poem by j michael kaisner

A girl. A ghost. In my dark.
Narrow hallway.
So hollow
Narrowed
Air ways
So hard to swallow.
Air ways
These old lungs
Are hollowed
A cavity
A cavern
Of unrest.
She is the icy
The frozen
Winter cold
Hands that
Hug my chest.
As I'm falling asleep.
She suffocates me in my bed.
As everything starts
To fade
And I struggle for air one last time
I can hear the winds kissing
Kissing those f*****g wind chimes.

Sounds like a panic attack. This lady has her hooks in you still and pulling those barbs out of the flesh is painful. Good write J!
