My heart in the city.....

The cityscape...

With its passersbyes.

 

Light rain sets the mood.

Souped in lifes sorrows.

 

Our eyes meet as we go by,

and in our short time...

 

The light seems to shine.

On the beach of time,

that goes on in my mind.

 

That I stand on the side,

and watch you go by.

Oh, how very subtle and sweet. Rainy days, to me, are the most romantic; A storm is before my four-day weekend... according to the news, that is.

Anyways, great work on this! The flow is great as always, and the tone just feels like a pondering mood which tranquilizes the reader in a beautiful state of romantic peace.
