Watercolor Sunlight

Watercolor Sunlight

A Poem by Poet Sayings
"

Thank you for reading ^_^

"

It's force that warms swift gale

Wisp o'er flowers flowers flowers

Where we entwine then nuclear sigh

It is song to the petal white universe

It is sway to milky sheets that hover

Where all visions form then imagine

But her shimmer- it's an overcast

But I rest inside each passing day

Where life is glimpses of a portrait

Discovering the greatest invention

Our love: the miracle of color

I felt, as I read this, a happy voyeur. As if by chance I have come upon a utterly beautiful natural scene which has absolutely nothing but at the same time absolutely everything to do with me... but without the past and the future. Brilliant imagery throughout.

Very refreshing, not the usual poetry read I'm used to. "It is song" "It is sway" I love it!

It's discordant in a way that's oddly appealing. Sometimes I go into poetry expecting, almost like a river, for the words to flow, but this one went down kicking.

I enjoyed this.

This is one of those poems you linger over. Your last stanza is my favorite.

Nice, quaint and peaceful. That's what I feel when I reads this.
Also, maturity. I feel a huge amount of maturity in this piece of writing.
I read this poem and I know the writer has really been places.

"It is song to the petal white universe
It is sway to milky sheets that hover"
These lines just flow with a lot of feeling of piece. It's such a joy to read.

You are honestly one of the best writers I have found on here. Keep up with your poetry cause it is extremely good!

Nice poem, I was thinking about delving deeper into it and searching for a meaning other than the depiction of soothing sunlight and the appreciation of hue, but I decided this was a good enough light (no pun intended) for me to read the poem in.

101/100

A most enjoyable poem on rainbows and what they mean. At least that's what I take it to be. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

"Discovering the greatest invention/Our love: the miracle of color"--these lines were quite grand, and quite metaphorical. Simple, straight forward, but written with an undoubtedly skilled hand. Enjoyable.
