Basho should be really proud of himself. It isn't just nature that deserves Haikus anymore but with all the beauty and crap the world has to offer, a banal, trivial subject deserves one.

Very good use of words. Take talent to make three sentences a complete story. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Where's the 'Kigo'? Just messing but I'm sure some writer's wouldn't let you off the hook on that one. I think if you have 80% of something, you'd have to be blind not to see it. Interesting Haiku, more contemporary society than 'natural'.
