Santa cruz

A Poem by Ed X
"
as if i were to die tomorrow
"

Chilling at my pad
Waking up in the evening
Last night was so long
But I got to keep breathing
Stepped outside and took a toke
Puffed that fast
Now I’m on to the smokes

I take a stroll down the ave.
Ho chi wo chi ma-mia
Look at the lovely ladies
They’re all looking so fine
I find my brother
He’s called sideshow steve
Take a toke from his greens

We head over to our girl maria’s
Chillist little devil
If you ever get to meet her
Smoked a few bowls
Then we’re on the move

Head over to Liz-Tanya’s
For the nights of debauchery
Where we drink the fire whiskey
That goes down as smooth as ice
Oh what a life
Getting high and getting laid
In the santa cruz’s strife
