Quest To The Earth's End

Quest To The Earth's End

A Poem by Midnight_Mask

Running like a little cat in a golden field,
Trying to hunt down a beautiful creature flying towards the sun.
No matter how much I jump,
Or quest to the Earth's end,
This little butterfly is just too fast to get.

I gallop to pursuit,
Falling to my knees again,
Moving along the floor.
I'm a tiger on the hunt,
Chasing the night away.
I'm an interesting being,
Not being able to catch my prey.

Sneaking close to the ground,
Finally the butterfly lands on a distant flower.
I'm chasing forwards,
Arms stretch wide,
Wrap my arms around him before he got away.

I caught you know,
The game has come to an end,
You told me all your hiding places,
I remembered every single one.
Hiding seek is a little childish,
But when I'm with you,
I can chase you for hours,
And never stop at all...
