Beach Vacation

Beach Vacation

A Poem by MightyMouse

To the beach, I and ten friends go

Where the sand is hot and the cool breeze blows.

We pile on the yellow bus, boys and girls,

With hopes of finding some big bright pearls.

The drive is long, but our spirits high

As we gaze up at the clear blue sky.

A man called Xyno is the escort,

He is smart and funny, but a little short.

Brown hair he has upon his head

That’s still a mess from when he got out of bed.

Two sons he has in his company,

One of five and the other three.

Jaicen is the younger one.

He eats so much, he weighs a ton.

Chocolate is his favorite food.

It always puts him in a good mood.

He doesn’t know how he brings us joy,

So much loved is this little boy.

Nykolus is his older brother,

He always screams and cries for his mother.

Unfortunately, she’s no longer with us,

But still he puts up quite a fuss.

He carries with him a little bear

That he likes to through into the air.

Stephania is the oldest child.

She’s sweet sometimes, but hardly mild.

When she feels like saying something,

She always does it without thinking.

Though she thinks she knows it all,

Hanging with her is always a ball.

Kya is her younger sister.

Her favorite game is a game of twister.

Part because she’s in gymnastics.

She likes when people call her fantastic.

Though she likes all the appreciation,

She really needed this vacation.

Melodie is her best friend,

But watch her close, she’s easy to offend.

Not a girl who likes to talk much,

And flinches away from every touch.

Not so much a people person,

But if we’re careful, she won’t worsen.

There is a boy whose name is Myles.

He likes to tease girls with his smiles.

Very much a ladies man,

But dating he has never a plan.

Not alone in this desire is he,

A twin brother he has on his family tree.

Luke the brother, and the twin,

Has learned to play the violin.

His music is as sweet as candy,

Which I’ve heard can come in handy.

Unlike his brother who thinks girls are a virus,

He has a girlfriend whose name is Iris.

Iris is a mystery.

She will not tell us her life’s history.

She likes to dress in red and black,

But seems to have herself on track.

Her moods like to change with the weather,

And today she seems as light as a feather.

Alice sits in the back alone.

She’s the shyest girl I’ve ever known.

She finds it hard to meet my eyes,

But I know she really tries.

Maybe someday we can sit down,

And make a smile from a frown.

This concludes my friend’s descriptions,

Left out of course where their addictions.

They like to think of when they were little,

And time itself was not brittle.

But now they could not acknowledge,

That someday they’d be in college.

Well this was a very well done assignment its a sweet showcase of your talent. =)
I don't know why, but I was smiling as I read this. So, I suppose I should thank you.
This was the most enjoyable way to learn about a bunch of random people (random to me, anyway).
I really like this and I'd say that Iris interested me the most.
Oh! And "Nykolus"... now that's an interesting way of spelling that!

All in all, it was a lovely poem, so keep up the good work! ^_^
