Where?

Where?

A Poem by Michael of Gilead
"

Sometimes you lose yourself

"

The street sweeper rumbles by

Waking me from this lie

It is dark and chill

I shiver in the still

Yet in my dreams I was bold

Awaking to a life thats old

 I only wish to fold

To have it over, my life untold

The rain begins to fall

Overwhelmed by it all

I crawl into a bed of fear

How did my life lead me here

My body numb, in disgrace

My mind races at a different pace

I am nothing, I have no place

Not in this so called human race

Ahh, the call of the dark, it's siren song tempts us all. Dance in the light my friend, no matter how alluring the song...

Yes Aven, even the darkest times do pass, not always when you need/want them to, but they do pass.

Incredibly moving. I have felt similare at times...we all have dark moments...inner storms of turmoil...but even hurricanes eventually pass.
