Emotional/Physical

A Poem by Mip/John K. Brierley

Blood falls from her wrist
As she cries her heart out
Hurting from within
Blocking it outside
It's a temporary fix
She stops but for a few blessed moments
Before her heart freezes in misery
Whispered words drove her to this
She sits in blessed silence
As her frozen heart beats out blood
