Blistering Bane

Blistering Bane

A Poem by Misery

I don't think random words deserve a description. This is subject for editing/deletion but I appreciate you reading it anyway.

Did you know?
The walls you once were so envious of have been painted in your splendor,
the stories rewritten, and a taste once bitter has never tasted sweeter.
Any imperfections are remedied by the thirst that you bring
You embody past and present alike but never the future, because what's too look forward to at the end of your intoxicating spirit other than a feeling of loss and anomie.
A strange sense of profound righteousness is present in the way I consume you, unfortunately I'll soon be forty dollars short of regression so I'll drown myself in the next best thing
the one that tore you away from me

Goodnight my blistering bane, I'll come find you in some other morning, when tomorrow doesn't seem too late.

That's a heck of a way to say good bye. Great poem.
Sometimes it's in the timing... maybe? Sometimes it just plain isn't right and never will be.
