Pre-Blistering Bane

Pre-Blistering Bane

A Poem by Misery
"

Something short

"
My Flickering Flame,
I, a moth to your fate
You draw me in, like Oxygen
When I myself am shallow of breath
Unable to keep your fiery throes away
I offer myself so that you might radiate like a tumultuous dream
Ignite, my blistering bane

A short, visual poem. A flickering flame can be intoxicating. I felt the pull. Nicely penned.

The second line is so great. It's like that thing or person we just need but is so bad for us.

I love this poem a lot ^_^
I really enjoy your style, you should write more.
Love the metaphors. When you play with fire you're bound to get burnt at some point.
It's easy to relate to this. Short but packed with a deep message.
Keep up the good work!
