Don't Leave me, Don't Leave me

Don't Leave me, Don't Leave me

A Poem by Reanna King

Don’t leave don’t leave

You are my life, and I proceed

With only the constant thought of your face

Your smile your eyes everything in place

You’re the cure to my cancer

Incurable, you’re improbable

But persevere and you’re mine

Fight on the battle line

But without a fight I show up to the dance

One step two-step, stumble

We help each other’s stride

You worry to much, I worry to little

You dry the tears from my eyes,

And dream to be next to me in my bed.

Heartbeats combined. Bodies intertwined.

The sky is our blanket

Your lips are my fire.

Sparks fly, sorrow begins to die

And I proceed, you are my life

Don’t Leave Don’t leave
