Chameleons

Chameleons

A Poem by Sariel Hana
"

I am lost.

"

I don’t know who I am.

I thought I did but that all changed.

I am someone I can’t even recognize.

Can I find myself again,

In red flannel shirts and floral dresses?

Am I that transparent?

I try to re-trace my steps.

I was lively and vibrant.

Living life moment by moment.

Did I loose myself in the temptations of the world around me?

The distractions?

I don’t know.

Maybe I’m supposed to change.

Perhaps we are all chameleons.

We change our appearance.

But we will never transform what’s inside.

Maybe this is just another color.

Very nice poem really like the message here. It is very true that we are always the same inside but always trying to find what we are not trough doing bad things :):)
