Love Is

Just a little love poem I wrote for my boyfriend, who just left for Navy bootcamp.

Love is sharing- love is hard,

love is letting down your guard.

Love is frightful- love is true,

love is trusting through and through.

Love is passionate- love is perfect

Love is loving beyond the surface.

Love is friendship- love is compassion

Loving you is everlasting.

Love is keeping you safe from harm,

love is holding you in my arms.

Love is missing you when you're gone,

love is knowing you'll always come home.

Love is greedy but selfless too,

love is loving only you.
