GRACE

I am a proud Christian. I always day dream about being held by the Lord in the mist of troubling problems in my life. So I wrote this three weeks back.

If I could only hug you
Oh how all my problems would subside
If I could see the eyes of Jesus
Staring right back into mine
Oh how all my current troubles
would instantly fade away
I wouldnt know what to speak of
I wouldn't have a word to say
We all face trials and dissapointments
We all have tasted bitter pain
But to be held in the arms of Jesus
Oh how we'd never be the same
To be held by he who laid his life down for you
By he who shall never forsake you
By he who was beaten for your sin
Oh how I hope these words do shake you
For he was bruised for your transgressions
Whipped as if he were not human
He did this for you, but now he looks down at you
And is saddened by all you are doing
His blood on that cross means nothing to this world
Oh Jesus no one ever thinks about what you went through
Oh if I could only hug you and personally thank you
For with love you had faith in he who sent you
A hug from you would be perfect
But the oppurtunity to bow at your feet would be great
For because of your love and merciful being
I can now be saved
THROUGH GRACE!
