A Poem by Ana B.

I think it’s gonna rain. Tiny drops of delight

Washing away this obscurity I’m feeling tonight

My ambivalent thoughts - the cloth of this veil of mine

Blocking away any elation my heart can find.

Your beauty-a suave deception,

Yet making me tremble…afraid of rejection…

I will melt your barricade - brick by brick

I know how you hinder, cause I use the same trick.

Your doors are good …almost impossible to open

Such a beautiful soul, yet you think it’s broken

But it’s too soon for demolition

Based on a silly little superstition

so unique Ana, its what i've come to see in your work, Love Stained, you're seeking a way into the heart you hold dear, its not hard because you are breaking into a world that you already have the key to, no need to break down the walls, no superstition need stand in your way, you own the heart you want so take it, beautiful Ana, just beautiful :)

This peice is truly magical! I love it that you start off with the rain and then bring in your emotions. They flow so well! and to add to it is amazing imagery and subtly propagating messages! a great write indeed Ma'am:)

"long as i remember, rain's been falling down....clouds of mystery falling, confusion on the ground" (credence)
and that which looks as beautiful as a halcyon sky...can turn to something that demolishes a heart.

Thank you very much for stopping by.
I really enjoy the hidden message in "Love stained", that feels right for this poem. I love at the end how it shows the impossible but discourages quitting. THAT is a message that needs to be spread throughout society today! The best of luck to you in future endeavors.

Thank you for the beautiful words and for the insight Ricky :)
'I will melt your barricade - brick by brick - I know how you hinder, cause I use the same trick.'

Coloured words with a hidden something or other beautifully enveloped in words to live by. superstition or not.. who cares! An emotional cleverness in twelve lines, Ana.
