I’ve got one breath left. What to do with it….

From a whisper to a scream…one breath…

I’ve got this piece that doesn’t seem to fit

In this ocean with no bottom and no depth

 

Your heart’s a flicker to this flame…

A burning fire, heating me at night

Will I be able to stay sane…

When you promise to hold me tight?

 

Chasing snowflakes…again

Those who feel, can’t claim armistice

Chasing snowflakes…even in the rain…

Cause heart is war and love…a pacifist.

Once we take up arms (or hearts) in Love - thats a line crossed. We can't say later - "but I wanted to stay neutral. I only raised my heart in self defence. I didnt mean to..."
Love is like war - someone once said. What use would it be if it were otherwise? Fight for your love or stand back and someone else will fight for it and you will lose it.

The second stanza is so romantic. The losing control just by merely thinking of being in a lover's arms. And 'chasing snowflakes' is a very strong image. This is my new favorite of yours Ana. :))

Well, according to Einstein, everything is relative. So while love is a war, for serene numbness, it's also a peace, for a battling heart that beats only for it...or something like that..
