Mortality

Mortality

A Poem by Ana B.
"

a M.A.G.I.C. compilation

"

Hello world, please hold me for a while

Until the Lord of Chaos has struck

Making it arduous to reconcile

Those conflictive emotions, ready to erupt

Sitting in the Temple of Remembrance

In this frozen moment…

Oh, this life’s unmistakable fragrance

Replenishing the Ancient Cities of Peace…and of Torment…

Life and Death have no supremacy.

They only tell a story…

Of those things that are always meant to be

Carrying through time humanity’s glory…

I liked the imagination used here. The line " Life and Death have no supremacy" sounds like a universal truth. Well written Ana :)

Thank you very much Nazia!
'Hello World' - every beginners first computer program. I love that.
Wonderful classical stylings here and superb metaphors
I love that Life and Death get demoted or at least sideways promoted to be level with the rest -
A truly epic write here Ana. I enjoyed the MAGIC series very much.
Great idea and excellent execution. *applauding here* :)

Such a great flow to this piece and your imagination! The words you have chosen have a lot of thought behind the selection of each. Well done Ana.

:) Thank you very much for saying so Robert.
great writing Ana, three words that should be placed after your name on a plaque on a wall somewhere in your honour, well that's what i think anyway, here we find emotions running wild, even though peace can be found the torment remains, first line stanza three a poetic dream come true and as you say they tell us a story of what is meant because it cannot be denied, as to our glory that's defined in time, remarkable writing Ana :)
