A Poem by Ana B.

This shady world, with lines so blurry

Will end when the last word will be said.

When the last passage of this journey

Will be inevitably read.

And then, who will remember

The melting moon resting on the lake…

The maple rain that falls in September…

The flaming sun, always wide awake…

The crimson rose of a kiss

Brought by the dew as a gift…

Our breaths’ everlasting eclipse

In cardamom dreams slightly dipped…

Thank you Anurag :)
Deep and powerful thoughts.
"And then, who will remember
The melting moon resting on the lake…
The maple rain that falls in September…
The flaming sun, always wide awake…"
Thoughts and memories make us who we are. The poem left the reader with something to think about. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank you dear Armin :)
The images you have created are lovely in this melancholy little gem. The picture you chose is almost as beautiful as your poetry. Wonderful writing my dear friend.

Welcome
This is simply gorgeous poetry, Ana, and your selected images and song accompany the piece perfectly. The question you ask is one we all ponder: who will then witness the world in its splendour, from the melting moon and maple autumns to the beauty of the blazing sun... poetry will remember in the pages we write... the last two lines are my favorite as you compare the dipping of those cardamom dreams to the eclipsing of final breaths... stunning :D
