A Poem by Ana B.

In my soul lives a body,

That’s stubbornly hunched.

A willing slave of demagogy

That can’t stand after being punched

By life.

Bitterness is a bitter mask -

My agglutinate knife;

I wish I had more questions to ask

After being punched

By life.

Shadows are dripping

Making ink for my dreams…

In those moments, while fears are sleeping

I paint my world from dazzling figurines.

Where the world is simple

With no walking hollow souls,

Where the gypsy moon shows her dimple…

No metaphorical black holes…

Just music.

Oh lord, the first two lines are brilliant. I can ponder on them all day.
Lovely as always my dear poet!

Thank you very much dear reader :-)
'Just music', ahh a great ending, very serene. I love how you made out a body living in a soul than vice versa...

Lovely write and pic too. (:

You're welcome, Ana ((:
It's a great call for questioning on how we can all attain the simplicity of life - letting go of the trivial, releasing the attachments, focusing in the present because really there is not past of future. Gosh who even knows if you exist :D

The line 'a willing slave of demagogy' threw me out of what started out as writing aiming for ethereal.

I also wonder how you could change the language of the first two lines so you are not actually telling us and perhaps instead showing us about the soul.

I feel you could loose the world making - seems not needed. As well as 'in those moments' - ah - I too over speak words.

You have a wonderful mind an I thank you for sharing X
