Almost Human (Oh, the Humanity!)

Almost Human (Oh, the Humanity!)

A Poem by RFDIII
"

Part one of 'Oh, the Humanity!'

"

Be there bauble, emotion, or hasp 'pon a lock,
t'which makes the soul defined?
And if there is, do which I miss?
The beads, the blood, or the iron?
World after world have been stolen away
From me, poor nomad of times.
Thy home has never been.
Thy home may never be.
Almost;
Not quite
living.

Not quite dead.

Hard to be in the middle. Must find a center and try to create a peaceful home? I like the thoughts and questions raised by the excellent poem.
