A fity word horror story

He startled her with a roguish pinch

Ignored her feral smile and angry squint

In a fine-china cup she served him tea 

Made from the bark of the wolf-willow tree

Too late he learned in the moon high dark

The gypsy curse of the bark in the bark

Say… are you any kind of thespian? Do you have a way to create an mp3 file? And, if so, would you try to record something for me? I'd like to have the werewolf transformation for my poem. But, my husband and my son are not the creative types and don't get poetry at all.

Do you think you could convincingly record yourself acting it out? I'd like to have about 8 to 16 seconds of the following:
• You're suddenly seized by the transformation, wracked with pain
• You scream, "Oh God, no!"
• Your scream becomes a growl
• You give a short, sharp howl, cut off mid-howl
After the cut off human howl, I have a wolf-howl already.

Thanks so much, Clive. Have you looked into Steemit.com yet? It’s a cryptocurrency monetized blogging platform. So far, it’s slow growth, but I am seeing value growth on my account. The way it apparently works, is that by joining, you lend your computing power to the system which mines for cryptocurrency (like bitcoin, but his is steem). You don’t have to put up with ads you have no control over on your work, and the growth seems to be dramatically faster so far. For example, in four years, with AdSense (limited for content) I’ve only made about $14; AdSense won’t payout until you make a minimum of $100, and they changed their rules a few months ago, which wiped out my tiny balance all together. On Stemit.com, in about two months, my account value has already risen to around $4.5.

It works like a social media platform – somewhere between WritersCafe and Facebook in operation. It’s a bit cumbersome in these early beta days. Anyway, you read other blogs, participate in contests, and group activities, which you “upvote” and share you own content for upvotes. The upvotes is how the cryptocurrency payouts are apportioned, so the more active you are, the more people who read and upvote your work, and the more you upvote others’ works, the more your account value will grow.
