Sand Castles

Sand Castles

A Poem by Monica Carr Innovation
"

A tale of lost love.

"

Building castles upon the sand,
As dim light falls in light and flame.
Will love remain a constant promise,
Or wash away, forever changed?

Or be we like constant waves;
Soft foams from the sea,
And forever caress the sand
Whispering love so delicately?

With sweet love's breath
You speak in pleasant grace,
Confessing your truths
That gently rests upon my face.

And so I pray that love be true,
Free of doubt and irrelevancies.
And we remain with deep love bound
As the castle with the sand, the waves and sea.

It's that age old saying, a love without true friendship as it's base is like building a mansion upon sand..

it is in each grain of castle that represents the time of our lifetime.. each wave washing away bits and pieces that once were and might have been..

keep building those chateaus on the shore.. afterall, that is where dreams wash up upon to climb the towers for lovely maidens, named Monica..
