A Poem by Morgan A Lynch

Just something i had in my head

The night sky is as dark as your eyes
Rain drops fall do the ground
Your heart turns cold
Blood pours from your veins
Your body curls in pain
There is a small noise that creeps out of your lips
Clawing at the ground, trying to stand
There is no turning back
You have made your choice
The darkness has taken your soul

A choice thought of daily missing the echoes of war.

wow i dont even know what to write. the first line seems to take me to the dark place of were the rain is tears like getting angry and having your blood boil...or like blacking out not knowing what your doing. i liked this write.

I don't know why we let ourselves come to this point...but so many of us do. Perhaps your work will turn some back from the darkness, before it is to late.

Thanks again

I really liked the first says alot.....normally the comparison would be otherwise, so this way it makes u really think and emphasizes the situation that is.

This piece sounds like a verbal paint from a movie. I can visualize the errie scene unfold. Nicely written. You grasped my attention.

An interesting little piece...I like the idea of "darkness" shown in this poem, so many things can be drawn upon by this.
