Jack High Ace low

Jack High Ace low

A Poem by MoriartyMesa

The cards are shuffled, split, than shuffled and the deal hands the cards over,

"Cut",

Where ever you cut,

no matter the count out of fifty two,

you must guess,

split at 32 or 16,

does it really matter?

Peer left,

now make a small glance right.

Six players, one dealer,

I love my odds.

Very interesting last line...people tend to look unfavorably to remainders, but you've successfully depicted remainders (odd leftovers) as favorable signs of certainty.

I really enjoyed this piece. Feeling as if I were at a poker game. I love pieces that draw me into a scene. Fantastic Job!
