Forsaken

Overcoming your demons, in a sense.

It seems I'll never quite be rid, of what lives inside of me, I've tried to get it out but never did, "I" has become "We". I've saved kingdoms and moved the sun, but when that thing comes, your lives are done. "If you can't beat em join em" the old adage goes, there will be mayhem, the likes of which no one knows. If we must be one then we shall rule, nothing's impossible unless you're a fool. Endless bloodshed to satisfy its lust, we are immortal, in this you can trust.

It's funny how I'm kinda stuck with the idea of overcoming your demons recently, this poem hit the right spot at the right time. Very nice and creative piece you bring us, I like it a lot. Really flows well together and the last line is a great summary of the whole poem. The cherry on top you could say. Great flow and wonderful words! Well done and thank you for sharing!
