Take Another Look

Take Another Look

A Poem by Amanda Mae MacInnis

I'd like to offer some food for thought
It's through our lemons that life is taught
The taste may be bitter and pucker your lips
But factor in sugar and try a few sips
Bake it with merangue and serve it as pie
The taste is transformed as you give it a try
Not all of life makes sense, we see that day to day
Sometimes things that seem so bad are really quite okay
