Pied piper

Pied piper

A Poem by Mrudula Rani

You bait with your sweet talk!
And you leave me a wreck,
I can't undo your tricks,
Desire to flee I lack.

Your endless charms
Pull me to you closer,
Then you toss me into despair,
And leave me aside as a spare.

You make me forget who I am!
And abandon me in storms.
Your promise of romance,
Is around my neck a noose!

So much a soul can tolerate,
My patience has reached its limit.
No more of me is for your fun.
I am breaking free soon...

....after one last glimpse of you I will be gone!

Beware of words especially sweet nothings, for that is what they are.. the piper may well call the tune, but you must call the shots.. say it like it's meant and true... why I've never found these words before now, I just dont know... they are far too good to e missed and I sincerely hope others will now follow.. All Good Things, My friend... N :)
