Sorry to be picky, but especially in a short poem, typos stand out more:
Line 4: "an" --> "and"?
Line 9: "units" --> "unites"??

I like the way you write this with very dynamic word choices. I was reading it, trying to imagine that your message could also apply to passion for ANYTHING, like an activity or hobby, as much as passion for another person. I like the line: "consume soul's identity" --> this is the reason I've always been commitment phobic (I give too much of myself away). It's hard to relax & let one's soul identity blend with another's (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
