A Poem by Mrudula Rani
"

Inspired by, Sleepless Volcano's,poem, 'One day you'll understand'.

"

Naani ( 20 to 25 syllables, 4lines)

Even if it's veiled,
I still can discern your mood,
Your reasons, spares.
For your eyes voice volumes!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sedoka (5,7,7. 5,7,7)
Even if it's veiled,
I still can discern your mood
Affixing your reasons, spares.
With heed I proceed
For your eyes can voice volumes
In kaleidoscopic hues.
Makes me wonder what you're going to try next. You whip your puzzle pieces into varied works of art and bend the words to your will. I've been enjoying the experimentation. What inspires you to try all these different forms?
The eyes are another way of communication that at times are just as understandable as words. I like the two versions being they show your versatility as a poet.
Thank you. Tim, for your lovely review.
I knew you have that power of discernment. Are you sure you are not a pshychic other than a poet. The eyes are truly the windows to our souls and they can tell volumes. Masterful penning as usual...
you are welcome!
You must be feeling quite experimental! This is a great way to show how a poetic decision might be made between different forms, by noting how this same message can be delivered in each format. I love your message, I love your analytical process, & I love how you inadvertently teach your fellow poets a thing or two all the time without even giving it a thought! *smile* Fondly, Margie
You are too kind, meu doce Querida.
Under the circumstances, I am hereby compelled to thank both you, my dear friend and Sleepless Volcano for what is essentially more than a poetic treat, but a genuine pleasure.. a brave endeavour and perfectly executed........ Neville
