Cerebration

Cerebration

A Poem by Mrudula Rani

For letting train of thought to evanesce,
by an inapt distraction of nullity.
Strain to entrain link anew to coalesce...
For letting train of thought to evanesce,
apercu lost its direction to press,
coda trails, belays at molehill empty.
For letting train of thought to evanesce,
by an inapt distraction of nullity.

Is this a particular form, Mrudula?

I like the repeated lines and how they mirror the theme of the poem.

Thought is such a mysterious process and part of human life. The profundity of being human always rings back from your poetry from theme to vocabulary to form.

Your poems always remind me of the seriousness of inheriting the power of mind. The repetition here is so effective.

What a lovely review my friend, your wonderful thoughts are a joy to peruse, Neville dear.
sometimes I think you have a direct link to my brain. what you describe is what happens to the bunny all of the time unintentionally. I often perceive trains as commerce, commerce has no heart... it's not that it ever had one, it simply just is. it does what it does regardless of it consequence. the process evanesce doesn't always leave an empty molehill. inside it you will find the echoes & skeleton with which the framework for the birth of an understanding and the coda becomes an interlude to a mountain. splendid splendid splendid reflection in a voice as rich as a thousand echoes

I read a feel of futility, surrender to inability to control matters as anything said or done becomes meaningless. Interesting form.
