Hard to Swallow

It was a crowded bus
that allowed me
the proximity of him.

The relative humidity

was climbing
as my eyes took him in…
the opened shirt
the stressed jeans,
the crossed leg upon the bent knee.

I tried hard not to stare
at the size of his boots,
wondering - aimlessly
if it gave any credence to

the analogy it emulates

I pulled my lip into my mouth
biting hard in contemplation,
smiling my most cheshire grin

Such truths ,
analogically speaking
would be hard to swallow!

I don't think that there is any distinct correlation to this discussion. You will never know the answer to the question on the floor without asking it! Where's Da Meat?

LOL.. love this, and I would say no to that analogy, Hun..It does not pan out..I usually look at hand proportions and just know..lol I love that you put into words what so many women think. I haven't read the comments below, but I bet some of the guys were a bit shocked and turned on at the thought. I sometimes wonder why they think women sleep with them.. (rolls her eyes)
Love the pun at the last line...fabulously funny.

Saucy! The wording creates such clear images in my mind,
obviously my mind is focused on beautiful legs crossed on
bent knee along with nibbling of luscious lips, your mind on

...thank you! I am thrilled you enjoyed the ride!
Bus writes are my favorite.
I love riding the bus because there's so many stories to be told.
And they are everlasting...
I love this Kelly!
