We'll Be The Stars

We'll Be The Stars

We’ll be the Stars

 *

A full moon

tethers us to sleep

Angels fly

through a celestial sky,

and the man in the moon is a fiddler…

but we are the stars, my love

             we’ll be the stars.

i love the simplicity and the fairy tale atmosphere, it's like soft whisper, a sweet little promise. We will be stars, one day.

I was waiting for that...thank you, John...and welcome back!
I really enjoy the Papyrus font you've selected for this sweet Free Verse, Kelly; it lends a lovely touch to your composition, and the asterisks certainly play with the imagination as softly-rounded romantic stars in a moonlit night.
As I read this for the third time through, with each it dawned on me just how genuinely gentle and warm you'd have to be to string such loveliness together, and it feels sincere with tender affection for your "love".

It is just beautiful, Kelly, from a beautiful heart … thank you with warmest hugs! ~ Richard
