My California King

 

 

morning breaks,

sunlight peers

through vertical blinds

you lie warm

and sleeping

in my California king

i sip from a french roast

voyeuristically immersed

in the rippled effect

of sheets

wrapped  sinuously around

the southern proximity

of my California king.

:) it was a fine 4th of July celebration around here ..nothing too extravagant ..just some good people and a few fireworks .. and a couple of beers .. and hot dogs .. hamburgers ...aaaaaaaand salads, chilis,chips ............ well .......... you get the picture :) hoep yours was as fine as you legs ;)
