INCEPTION

INCEPTION

A Poem by M.Babu
"

This is what happens when poetry rips off Hollywood concepts...nothing

"

Your mind is like my playground, I mould it as I please,

Your thoughts countless as the soil, your aspirations tall as trees.

But today I’m on a mission- got to find your darkest secret,

unlock that safe impregnable, understand that deep regret.

Lost love, putrid hate, jumbled heavily in this closet space,

Things you wish you’d undo, wipe them out till they neigh be traced.

Though you despise your traited flaws, your innate blemish, thy hidden faults,

I’m here to tutor your subconscious; help it understand its priceless vaults.

Lighten up this lonesome abyss, that your inadvertent mind become,

Train it to be as free; train it to become as jolly as rum.

But heed my warning so; t’s as clear as very glass.

I’m hear for now alone, not for long- tomorrow gone-alas!

It’d do you well to learn from me, and cast aside your burdensome luggage,

And live your life with a heart so free; with a luster hard to disparage-

Like a story in the Bible. Ain't easy for a greedy man to leave his wealth and become part of real life. Your last line is true wisdom. In death we will take nothing with us. We will end up somewhere with a resume of a good person or someone who used and abuse all things. I do believe in karma. One day we will pay for the good or the bad. A excellent poem. A lesson to be learn in your words.
